Deborah MacCallum joined the staff of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2004.

A marketing and communications professional with over 25 years of international experience specialising in cultural industries, Deborah was transferred to the UK in 1996 to head Sony Music's classical international marketing division. Most recently, she created the marketing and global student recruitment department at King's College London.

In her native Canada, Deborah was an award-winning record producer during a career which included production and marketing stints at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, University of Toronto, Marquis Classics and CBS Records (now SonyBMG).

As Director of Corporate and Student Services at the Guildhall School, she leads a group of professionals dedicated to the student experience and encompassing the areas of registry, student support and learning services, marketing, publications, public & media relations, fundraising and alumni relations. A passionate advocate for marketing across the arts, Deborah frequently acts in an advisory role for both public and private institutions.
