Abigail Glasser

Abigail Glasser profile image

Abigail Glasser is an actor, singer, writer and composer who makes and performs original musical theatre. Interested in dark comedy and taboo subjects, her work aims to playfully satirise modern day archetypes to create thought-provoking magical realism.

Her first original musical DIVINE, which was showcased for her graduation from Guildhall in 2019, was an exploration of feminine archetypes and Goddesses from mythology set in the ladies’ loo of a nightclub.

She is currently developing a solo show, Cookie Consent for Catalyst Festival, which explores our relationship with the internet, the ‘digital gaze’ and the modern phenomenon of growing up online. This piece will be performed in June 2020.

Other theatre credits include The Suppliant Women (2017) and Twelfth Night (2018) at the Young Vic. Abigail also works as a facilitator for theatre-making with young people at Company Three.
