Peter is the Executive Vice President of Production for the multi-national film and television group Umedia.
After graduating from Guildhall, Peter got his start in theatre and then television production – for the BBC, ITV and MTV – before moving into production and casting for feature films, including two directed by Woody Allen. In 2006, Peter co-founded the independent film company E-Motion, where he produced 12 animated and live action motion pictures before the company was acquired by Umedia in 2013.
With offices in Los Angeles, London, Paris and Brussels, Umedia has produced over 200 films, representing $2.5bn in production value, including multi-Academy Award-winning The Artist, John Wick, The Fifth Estate and Grace of Monaco. As Executive Vice President, Peter runs the group’s Los Angeles office, and oversees development and production.
An active member of the Producers Guild of America, Peter has guest lectured at the University of York and created and teaches an extension course in international filmmaking at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
