BA Acting Studies

The BA Acting Studies is a four year double degree programme, designed and delivered in conjunction with the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing. The first and fourth years of the programme take place in Beijing, and the second and third years take place in London. 

This ground-breaking new programme will take a cross-cultural approach to actor training, and allow students to explore the different professional, cultural and artistic realities that this demands.

The principal purpose is to equip Chinese actors to work more effectively in their own industries, having gained broader experience from training internationally, and to develop and innovate within their own vernacular art forms.

The programme takes in new students every two years. Recruitment is currently managed by the Central Academy of Drama and so the programme is not open to application directly through the School.
