As well as her career as a soloist, Theresa Goble is an internationally acclaimed voice teacher in great demand. In 1990 she was invited to join the teaching staff of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama as a Professor of Vocal Studies. In 1999 she represented the United Kingdom conservatories in a series of international masterclasses for the Montepulciano Opera Festival, as part of a European Union led project with students from the Paris Conservatoire, Köln Hochschule, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and the Vienna Hochschule. A documentary for German TV was made of the project. For the past 5 years, Theresa Goble has also taught at the British Summer School, Summer Music International. Ms. Goble is frequently engaged as an examiner, audition panelist and adjudicator.
Theresa’s own insights as performer and teacher draw on traditional Bel Canto technique as well as educational kineseology, Brain Gym, and inner game principles. She has recently begun a two year research project to assess the effectiveness of the use of Educational Kineseology in assisting the learning of the developing musician during conservatoire study.
