Biography

Chrissie is an alumni member of Guildhall School, having graduated in 2001, with a BA in Stage Management and Technical Theatre.

After graduation Chrissie toured the UK extensively, with both musicals and drama productions. She was part of the resident stage management team for houses, including The New Wolsey Theatre; Theatre Clywd, Wales; Queens Theatre, Hornchurch; and various other producing houses, around the UK.

In her late twenties Chrissie became the resident stage manager at Arts Educational Schools, where she stayed for 3 years, before taking up a long term position at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Working predominantly in the events sector, she aided the production of the first 'World Built Environment Forum', RICS' annual attendance at the global property summit 'MIPM' and hosted HRH Queen Elizabeth at the institutions 150th year celebration.

While at RICS, Chrissie freelanced as a stage manager for various youth projects including, Dance East and the Queens Youth Theatre programme as well as their bi-annual community productions. 

Returning to Guildhall 20 years post-graduation, Chrissie is the Performance Venues Coordinator, responsible for making sure all the cogs turn under the superb technical team.
