Guildhall School scores 94.2/100 for Music and 94.4/100 for Drama.

Guildhall has risen to fourth place of all higher education institutions for Music in the 2021 Guardian University Guide music league table,  and ranked second of all higher education institutions for Drama in the drama league table.

In Music, student satisfaction with courses has gone up by 10 percentage points from last year, and in Drama, student satisfaction and satisfaction with teaching ratings have risen by 4.7 and 4.2 percentage points respectively.

Principal Lynne Williams said: ‘This result is testament to the outstanding quality of the student experience at Guildhall School. Our world-leading staff are dedicated to not only ensuring the delivery of cutting edge performing arts training but that each student receives the guidance and support they need to fulfil their potential as artists in contemporary society.’

Earlier this summer, Guildhall was ranked in the top 10 UK universities and the top ranked conservatoire for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2020.

Ranked as one of the top ten performing arts institutions in the world (QS World University Rankings 2020), and third in the Arts, Drama and Music Complete University Guide League Table 2021, the School is a global leader of creative and professional practice which promotes innovation, experiment and research, with over 1,000 students in higher education, of which around 35% come from outside of the UK.

Applications for 2021 entry for our Music, Production Arts, Research and Teaching programmes are currently open. Acting programmes will open for application on 30 September 2020.
