Biography

Paula trained as an actor at Guildhall School of Music & Drama followed by several seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company and many years working in Theatre, TV and Radio. During this time, she was fortunate to study voice, text, and dialects with Cicely Berry, Patsy Rodenburg, Jeannette Nelson, Lyn Darnley, Charmian Hoare, and classical singing with Margret Bennett.

Paula continued her studies with Patsy Rodenburg OBE at the Patsy Rodenburg Centre for Voice and Speech, where she trained to be a PRA registered teacher and associate.

Paula now teaches - or has taught - voice, text, and presence to actors in training at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), Florida State University on The Theatre Academy London Programme, to include: Florida State University, Penn State University and Muhlenberg College, UCA (University of the Creative Arts), RSC Education and The Globe Theatre Education.

Paula has a client base that includes actors and women in business, teaching in London and Oxford. Paula has a passion to enable women to be seen and heard, using their authentic voice and presence. She also works with vulnerable women and those at risk to explore their right to be heard.
