Late Applications for Music Programmes

Late Applications

Late applications will only be considered for programmes/pathways where we have audition spaces available. We cannot guarantee that late applications will be accepted as many programmes are oversubscribed.

Please note: candidates who make a late application will be offered a recorded audition only – candidates will not be able to attend a live audition at the School.

After official deadlines have passed, we will close applications for programmes/disciplines as they become full. As a result, any late application you commence may be deleted at any time. Therefore, we strongly recommend that all late applications are completed in full as soon as possible after the deadline.

If you have missed the deadline, please see the below information, which outlines our late application procedure by programme.

Please note that we are no longer accepting applications for the following programmes for 2022 entry:

  • All opera pathways (including joint applications)
  • All vocal pathways
  • All music therapy pathways
  • All keyboard pathways excluding Piano Accompaniment
  • All BMus and PG composition programmes EXCLUDING the MA in Opera Making and Writing
  • All postgraduate bowed stringed pathways (violin, viola, cello and double bass)
  • All jazz pathways EXCLUDING saxophone, woodwind, trumpet and trombone
