Event information
Throughout the year, Guildhall School’s Research department runs a regular series of free, online ResearchWorks events that are open to all, providing a space to share and discuss the School’s innovative research with staff, students and the wider public.
It embraces a wide range of disciplines within Music, Drama and Production Arts including composition, performance, pedagogy, cultural history and musicology, scenography, theatre studies and music therapy. In partnership with the School’s Institute for Social Impact Research, the series also looks at the ways in which performing arts can have a positive impact on a wide variety of societal issues.
Topics this season include Composing a Theory of Adaptation (25 September, 5pm) and Tired Mummy is Making a Show: On Interrupted Time and Space (16 October, 5pm) with many more to be announced.
