SoundsCreative Projects | Tara Franks

SoundsCreative Projects is a Hackney based social enterprise that conjures up engaging ways of gathering people of all ages together through playful, high quality energetic musical experiences. Through neighbourhood projects, collaborative workshops, and performance events, SoundsCreative aims to encourage collaboration, create conversations and connect people. Projects are led by professional musicians and run in music venues, in unexpected & beautiful spaces, with schools and co-created with like-minded artists and arts organisations. Visit the SoundsCreative website.

About the founder

Founded by cellist, collaborator and creative workshop leader Tara Franks who believes everything in life stems from who we meet, that chats we have, the random opportunities we jump on and the experiences we encounter by walking a different route whenever possible. Tara believes that our individual and group engagement in music can be as strong whatever age we are. Whether 2 or 62 we all have something inherent that music taps into. We all have a capacity and need to play, a necessity to be allowed to let rip.

Connecting people through creative musical experiences
