Throughout her busy freelance career with the Royal Opera house, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and BBC concert orchestra, Julia has also been a member of a successful string quartet enjoying regular performances and recordings to critical acclaim.

Teaching is close to her heart and particularly enjoys coaching string ensembles and giving masterclasses to young musicians.
