Day One
The Eight Days of Christmas highlights students and alumni whose education has been supported by a scholarship. From now until noon on 9 December, the Big Give is doubling every online donation until we reach our goal.
Your generosity creates next year’s scholarships, inspiring the new stories that come with them.
Day One
To start this celebration of Guildhall School, we are led behind the curtain at Glyndebourne Opera Festival with our very own Alexandra Lowe (Soprano 2019). In this video, Alexandra interviews fellow alumni as they bring Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to life, displaying the incredible collaboration and camaraderie that Guildhall School instils in its students for generations. This glimpse backstage shows the connection and passion that defines life as a Guildhall-trained professional.
Featuring alumni Alexandra Lowe (Soprano 2019), Dingle Yandell (Baritone 2001), Alasdair Elliott (Tenor 1978), Robert Lewis (Tenor 2020), James Way (Tenor 2017), Nils Wanderer (Countertenor 2021), Heather Tomlinson (Stage Management 1993) and Ashley Beauchamp (Repetiteur 2019).
Watch, enjoy and feel the pride of being part of this extraordinary community.
