Performance & Creative Enterprise Alumni

Guildhall School’s pioneering BA (Hons) Performance and Creative Enterprise (PACE) programme was established in 2015 as a joint initiative between Guildhall and the Barbican, through their shared Creative Learning division. Its aim was to train visionary, socially engaged, multi-disciplinary, autonomous artists.

From the outset, the programme was closely aligned with the rapidly shifting UK arts industry and students were empowered to enter the industry with confidence upon graduation and disrupt pre-existing structural hierarchies, forging a more inclusive, collaborative industry for the future.

PACE graduates are resilient, politically engaged and highly skilled in a variety of different disciplines, including theatre, music, film, dance, poetry and performance art.

In July 2021, PACE closed to allow for new courses to be designed that will take forward and expand on the programme's ground-breaking work within the School.
