About Guildhall Young Artists King's Cross
Guildhall Young Artists is Guildhall School’s network of centres across the country, providing inspiring performing arts training for children and young people.
Our King's Cross centre will offer a range of classes and performance opportunities for all 5–18-year-olds, in drama, music and production arts, during Saturday term time.
Guildhall School of Music & Drama is a world-leading conservatoire based in the City of London, ranked as one of the top ten performing arts institutions in the world (QS World University Rankings 2022), as well as the top conservatoire in the Guardian University Guide music league table.
On Saturdays during term time, Guildhall Young Artists King's Cross will offer a range of classes and performance opportunities for 5 – 18-year-olds in:
- Drama
- Music
- Production Arts
Based at Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School, young musicians, singers, actors, designers, and stage managers can develop their creativity and access high-quality training with top practitioners and industry professionals, across a variety of styles and genres.
Performance opportunities will be at the heart of Guildhall Young Artists King’s Cross, with music, drama and production arts students coming together to create innovative performances. These will be staged at the centre and other arts venues. Visits from Guildhall School students and tutors will give students the opportunity to further develop their skills.
With no auditions or previous experience necessary, Guildhall Young Artists King's Cross is a great way to access Guildhall School’s world-class performing and production arts training, make friends and have lots of fun.
At Guildhall Young Artists we understand that committing to a new place with people you haven't met can feel daunting. This is why we offer a free taster session before joining – so if you don't want to come back afterwards, there is no obligation to do so. We usually find this takes the pressure off our students and allows them to relax and fully enjoy their first day with us.
Our free taster sessions also gives you a better feel for the classes that you would like to take part in, to meet our inspiring tutors and to help us design the very best timetable for your requirements.
Please visit our join page for full information, including how to book onto a taster session.
