About Summer Arts Course for Young Creatives

Join us for a week of creativity, collaboration, and discovery—right in the heart of the City of London!

Discover how everyday spaces - both indoors and outdoors - can spark creativity! Over five exciting days at Guildhall School and its surrounding area, young creatives will explore performance through movement, sound, storytelling, drawing, and visual design.

Guided by professional artists, participants will transform familiar spaces into imaginative sites of creativity. The week concludes with a collaborative sharing event for friends and family.

Who is the course for?
  • Children aged 8–11 who love being creative
  • No experience needed—just curiosity and enthusiasm!
What can I expect?
  • Hands-on workshops in physical theatre, sound creation, spoken word, and visual storytelling.
  • Fun, collaborative activities designed to build confidence and spark imagination.
  • A final informal performance, with invited friends and family, sharing the work created throughout the week.
Do I need anything for the course?
  • A basic, digital camera for photography session
  • Comfortable, loose clothing for movement-based activities.
'Course tutors and help were all brilliant. My daughter enjoyed it. Course content was great and different.'
