About Creative Evaluation Methods: A Practical Masterclass
Are you looking for better ways for stakeholders to take notice? Do you want your work to stand out?
This new one-day in-person masterclass will equip you with a toolkit of creative ways to monitor the impact of your projects and present these in a more engaging way.
You will be introduced to a variety of fun and creative arts based methods, which include story mapping, drawing, drama games, and 'Cards on the Table' - a game that helps people think and talk critically about their work.
Working in small groups and using creative props and stimuli, you will also design a creative method that could be embedded into a project that you are working on.
Participants will leave with the confidence and tools to make evaluations more engaging, inclusive, and impactful.
Who is the course for?
This course is for you if you want an evaluation to leave a lasting impression or get those around you to sit up and take notice.
You might be one of the following:
- Evaluation and research professionals, project managers, arts practitioners, and community engagement specialists working in public engagement, arts, culture, health, education, or community projects.
- Also valuable for academics, students, funders, and policy makers interested in innovative approaches to measuring impact.
- No prior experience required.
What can I expect?
The course tutor will go through a variety of different creative evaluation methods and how to apply these, so that you can leave with a toolkit for your projects.
You will be encouraged to think about which of these methods would be most useful for something that you have worked on recently - although you will not be expected to discuss your project in detail, please do have one in mind that you can chat to other participants about.
You will be asked to partner up with other participants to brainstorm new evaluation ideas for each others projects.
This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with people that you may not otherwise work with.
Do I need anything for the course?
- Bring an open mind and, ideally, examples of your own projects or evaluation challenges to work with.
- Paper and pen to take notes.
Course Fee
£130
