This admissions cycle, we will audition in Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore and New York.

How to apply
Asia Auditions
Application Deadline: 2 October 2023
Eligibility for audition
Please note, applicants for the following programmes/disciplines will not be able to audition live in Asia:
- Classical Percussion/Timpani
- Jazz Drums/Percussion
- Jazz Composition and Arranging
- Harpsichord
- Fortepiano
- Opera
- Joint Vocal/Opera applicants (note that Vocal applicants can audition in overseas venues)
- Electronic and Produced Music
- Selection is based on an initial evaluation of a submitted portfolio of compositions, following which successful applicants will be called for interview via Zoom.

Accompanists
Candidates must supply their own accompanists for overseas auditions.
Jazz applicants may attend an overseas audition, however a backing band or back line is not provided. Please bring your own instruments and musicians, or a backing track and appropriate playback device. A piano will be provided.

Invitation to Carnegie Hall Concert - Tuesday 16 January
All applicants are warmly invited to attend the Guildhall School concert at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday 16 January, for which we offer complimentary tickets to applicants. Details about this event will be sent to candidates after the application deadline.
