Box Office opening hours: The Advance Box Office is located in the Barbican Centre and accessed via their Silk Street entrance, between 10am–9pm Monday to Saturday, and 12noon–9pm on Sunday. The Barbican Box Office phoneline is open Monday–Friday from 12noon–5.30pm on 020 7870 2500.
Ticket prices: After more than 10 years of Guildhall School ticket prices remaining unchanged, a new pricing structure has been established for Autumn 2023, in line with increased costs now faced. The School’s commitment to affordability and access remains unchanged:
- the majority of Guildhall School performances remain free of charge, with no tickets required;
- concessionary prices are available for all ticketed events for students in possession of a valid Students’ Union card, over 60s/OAPs, and under 18s;
- accessible tickets are available to book for all events through the Barbican’s Access Scheme;
- most ticketed events are part of the Young Barbican scheme, offering discounted tickets for those aged 14–25.
Booking fees: Online & phone bookings are subject to the Barbican Box Office’s £4 booking fee. There is no booking fee for tickets purchased in person. Booking fees are per transaction and not per ticket. The booking fee may be reduced on certain events, and if a booking contains several events, the highest booking fee will apply.
Changes of programme: Guildhall School reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme or event in unavoidable circumstances. Please check website listings for notifications of any changes. In the event of a major alteration to a ticketed performance the Barbican Box Office will contact ticket holders to make them aware.
More information about booking tickets to Guildhall School events is available on the Barbican website.
