The School is based in the heart of the City of London, and is part of the Barbican complex, next door to the Barbican Centre.
By underground/train
Barbican, Moorgate, Liverpool Street, St Paul’s and Bank stations are all nearby.
By bus
Bus numbers 4, 43, 55, 76, 100 and 153 stop nearby.
By road

Accessible parking for Milton Court is available at Car Park 3.
Although we are unable to provide public tours of our buildings there are still a number of other ways you can visit us.

What’s on: Explore our event listings to find out what’s on at the School, and sign up to our events mailing list to be the first to hear about our new seasons and events. You can also join the Guildhall Circle to receive offers for exclusive season preview evenings and priority booking for events.
Box Office opening hours: the Advance Box Office is located in the Barbican Centre and accessed via their Silk Street entrance, between 10am-9pm Monday to Saturday, and 12noon – 9pm on Sunday. More information on booking tickets to Guildhall School events.
Venues: the School has several key performance venues. Within the Silk Street Building (with the entrance on Silk Street itself) you will find the Music Hall, Lecture Recital Room and Silk Street Theatre. Across the road in Milton Court (also accessible via Silk Street) are situated our Concert Hall, Theatre and Studio Theatre. Find more information about our venues and facilities.
Catering: in the Silk Street building there is a small café, located via the foyer and open in term-time between 8am and 9pm weekdays and 8am to 4:30pm on Saturdays, with a reduced service during holidays. In Milton Court, the first and second floor foyer bars are open for performances in the Theatre and Concert Hall, and the Livery Companies’ Bar opens for performances in the Studio Theatre.
Disability access & hearing loops: Throughout Milton Court we have an Infra-Red system for those who are hearing impaired. All floors and venues in Milton Court are fully accessible, except for the cloakroom on Level -1 – staff will arrange your cloakroom items to be taken down for you upon request at the entrance. In our Silk Street building, hearing loops are provided in the Music Hall and Theatre, with all venues suitable for wheelchair users.

Cloakrooms: throughout major productions, facilities are provided free of charge on level -1 of Milton Court and in the foyer of the Silk Street building.
Transport: Guildhall School encourage all visitors to choose the most efficient and environmentally-friendly travel options where possible.
