Guildhall Young Artists Taunton Free Workshops and Events
Guildhall Young Artists (GYA) Taunton hosts free workshops and masterclasses throughout the day from students and alumni from Guildhall School of Music & Drama, as well as professional artists visiting the Southwest.
Workshops and masterclasses are open to all GYA Taunton students. We also very much welcome anyone who is not a GYA Taunton member and interested to find out more about our performing arts centre.

The Happy Garden Band
Saturday 7 March, 12.20pm–1.20pm, 2pm-3pm
At Guildhall Young Artists Taunton, at Wellington School, Wellington
The Happy Garden Band, a fantastic 6-piece instrumental jazz group, from Guildhall School will be at GYA Taunton to help the centre's 12th birthday go with a swing. In the morning, at 11.15am-12pm the band will entertain everyone with their nu-jazz style, blending lush harmonies, organic grooves and improvisation.
The band are: Mo Cook (bass), Valentine Cheesbrough (guitar), Isaac James (drums), Sid Moon (trumpet), Chris Clayden (sax), Benji Charles (keys).
There will be free masterclasses with the musicians at 12.20pm–1.20pm, 2pm-3pm. BOOKING ESSENTIAL
