Host a Christmas Party
This December, we're inviting supporters to host a festive gathering as part of the Guildhall School Big Give Christmas Challenge.
Could your festive celebration help change a student's future?
By hosting a Christmas Party for Guildhall School, your friends and family can enjoy a performance from a talented student in your own home and have the opportunity to support the next generation of artists through the 2026 Big Give Christmas Challenge.
Every donation made through the Big Give online portal will be match funded, meaning your guests' support will go twice as far in helping talented young musicians access a world-class education.
Together, we'll create an unforgettable evening for you and your guests that supports the next generation of artists and spreads festive cheer!
What's Involved?
To make these celebrations a success, we're asking hosts to:
- Organise a party during the Big Give Christmas Challenge, 1 - 8 December 2026.
If an earlier date works better for you, guests can make pledges in advance and fulfil them during the campaign week.
- Hold your event within London Zones 1-3.
If you're based elsewhere, we'd still love to hear from you and discuss the possibilities.
- Help introduce new people to Guildhall School and the life-changing impact of scholarships.
Aim to raise £1,000 or more through donations via the Big Give online portal, where gifts will be doubled through match funding.
To make your event memorable, we will provide:
- A talented Guildhall School student musician to perform at your event and share their experience of studying at the School.
- Big Give Christmas Challenge materials, making it simple for guests to learn more and support the School.
