Pianist Antonina Suhanova has performed on international stages since 2000, establishing herself as a versatile artist whose career spans solo performance, chamber music, and collaboration with leading orchestras.

Originally from Latvia, Antonina studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with Ronan O’Hora, completing a First Class Bachelor of Music, Master of Performance and Artist Diploma, all with distinction. She was subsequently appointed a Junior Fellow at GSMD. Her artistic development has also been shaped by work with leading pianists including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Steven Osborne, Matti Raekallio, Richard Goode, Robert Levin and Yefim Bronfman.

Antonina has performed at festivals and concert series throughout the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil, China, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Austria. Her solo debut at Wigmore Hall was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3, and her performances have also been featured on Latvian Radio 3 Klasika, Austrian Radio Klassik and Switzerland’s Espace.

Antonina is a recipient of the Hattori Foundation Award, the Kenneth Loveland Gift, and awards from the Drake Calleja Trust, Making Music UK, Oleg Prokofiev Trust and the Worshipful Company of Musicians. She was awarded Second Prize at the Jāzeps Vītols International Piano Competition, the William Brown Prize at the Scottish International Piano Competition, and was nominated for the International German Piano Award.

Alongside her performing career, Antonina is dedicated to teaching and has been a member of the Junior Guildhall faculty since September 2022. 
In 2026, Antonina marks the release of a new album devoted to the music of Sergei Prokofiev, released on Prospero Classical.
