Jamie Doe BSc (Hons), FHEA

Jamie is a British / Australian singer-songwriter and composer based in London. Working in the space between folk and jazz, he is best known under the moniker ‘The Magic Lantern’ with which he has released five albums. Jamie’s songs have been performed by ensembles as diverse as the Vancouver Youth Choir, Slovenian Radio and Television Big Band and the Sydney Theatre Company while as a lyricist he has written for artists including Fred Thomas and Maria Chiara Agiro.

An experienced educator, Jamie is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and taught at the Institute Contemporary Musical Performance before joining Guildhall to support the development of the Songwriting Pathway.
