Guildhall Jazz Festival x EFG London Jazz Festival: Mako
Mako is an exciting new collaboration between David Harkness and Alex Wardill.
The two met while studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have performed in their own right at many London jazz venues including The Vortex, Ronnie Scott's, and the 606 Club.
Mako blends their shared love of music from the likes of Mark Turner, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Fred Hersch, Ben Wendel, and their distinctive personal styles, and is set to be an exciting outing for this new group.
Part of the School’s annual Jazz Festival, presented in partnership with EFG London Jazz Festival, celebrating the creativity and originality of the Guildhall Jazz community.
