We’re delighted to welcome acclaimed pianist Hyung-ki Joo to Guildhall School for a free, public masterclass with outstanding piano students.
Steinway artist Hyung-ki Joo is renowned for his virtuosity, creativity and engaging stage presence. As a concert pianist, composer and co-founder of the internationally celebrated duo Igudesman & Joo, he has performed with leading orchestras including the London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Wiener Symphoniker. Passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians, he is Artistic Director of the Menuhin Competition and is widely recognised for his innovative approach to performance, communication and music education.
The session will last for 3 hours, but audience members are welcome to drop in at any time and they will be admitted at an appropriate moment.
