Event Information

From The Beatles and Bond to classical collaborations

Don't miss this extraordinary orchestral celebration of one of the greatest producers of all time.

Celebrations for 100 years of legendary producer and Guildhall alumnus Sir George Martin continue with an exhilarating orchestral tribute. Seventy-five years since his first output as a producer, this special performance reflects six decades of Martin's pioneering production and musical inventions, performed by the Guildhall Session Orchestra

On stage is the impressive Guildhall Session Orchestra, a dynamic professional ensemble of talented Guildhall School alumni making waves across the music world, directed by Mike Roberts.

Founded in 2019, the Guildhall Session Orchestra has worked with artists Aoife O'Donovan, Joyce DiDonato, Becky Hill, Corinne Bailey Rae, Zbigniew Preisner and Adekunle Gold, and taken centre stage in spectacular genre-blurring performances such as OrchestRAM, An Orchestral Journey Into Drum & Bass

Approximate running time: 1 hour 30 mins
