Nadia Boulanger, a titan of twentieth-century music, taught many of the leading composers and musicians of the modern age, including Quincy Jones, Astor Piazzolla, and Philip Glass. This concert celebrates her own songs alongside the music of one of her most significant pupils, Aaron Copland.
