Event information

This Sunday afternoon concert offers the chance to enjoy a delightful programme of Mozart, Bridge, Arvo Pärt and Vierne as part of the Guildhall Chamber Music Festival.

The energetic finale of Mozart's String Quartet No 17 in B-flat Major will be contrasted beautifully with the sonorous Phantasy Quartet by Bridge. This is followed by the meditative, spiritual quality of Arvo Pärt's Fratres and the concert concludes with Vierne's Piano Quintet, a deeply personal expression of grief over the loss of his son.

Guildhall professors Joy Farrall (clarinet), Richard Benjafield (percussion), Krysia Osostowicz (violin), David Waterman (cello), Sam Armstrong (piano) and Ursula Smith (cello) perform in collaboration with Guildhall instrumentalists.

Online booking for this event opens at 10am on Tuesday 10 February 2026.
