In a celebration of creativity, finalists of RELEASE 2026, Guildhall Young Artists composition competition, will showcase, through music and film, their diverse new work and receive prizes from industry leading composers.

Isaac's original work ‘Divertimento’ won first prize in the Release the Notes category of Guildhall Young Artists (GYA) composition competition, RELEASE 2024.
Isaac, from GYA Norwich, says: "This is the first time I have entered the RELEASE competition and I am really delighted to have been chosen as a finalist. I'm thrilled that such highly respected musicians have listened to my work and I am looking forward to hearing all my fellow finalists' compositions. My ambition is to compose for a living, one day, and this is an ideal first step on that journey."

Milton Court, based across the road from our Silk Street building, provides the School with world-class performance and training spaces, including a state of the art concert hall, a lyric theatre, a studio theatre and several major rehearsal rooms.
