More than £200k raised in the 2025 Big Give Christmas Challenge

From 2–9 December, the Guildhall School community came together for the 2025 Big Give Christmas Challenge, delivering an exceptional result.

During the campaign, 127 donors helped raise a total of £207,896! The scale and pace of support throughout the week doubled the funds raised in 2024, highlighting the strength of our collective commitment to students.

Our sincere thanks go to the Reed Foundation and the six brilliant donors who provided matching funds, unlocking matched giving and multiplying the impact of every donation made during the Challenge.

The funds raised will support students in the 2026/27 academic year, enabling them to focus on their studies and progression while developing their creative practice. This support offers a vital opportunity to thrive, removing financial barriers and allowing students to fully commit to their training.

As Moses, Vocal Studies scholarship holder, shares:

“I am excited about the challenges and experiences that lie ahead, and I know that with Guildhall’s support, I can push myself further as a musician. Preparing for the upcoming year, I am very excited to continue developing myself as a performer and musician. Guildhall has been such an inspiring place for me to grow, and this scholarship will help me stay focused on developing my skills and capabilities.”

Thank you to everyone who supported the Big Give Christmas Challenge by donating, celebrating the School or spreading the word. Your support is life-changing for students and plays a powerful role in shaping the future of the arts. Thank you.
