Biography & Pure profile
Jo studied cello with Anthony Lewis of the Medici String Quartet whilst studying for a BA(Hons) at Kingston University. Following this she remained in London working as a session player for many years, working with a bands such as Divine Comedy, the legendary singer/songwriter John Martyn and jazz singer Claire Martin OBE.
Since her return to Somerset, Jo now combines performing with teaching, both privately and in local schools, playing regularly with the Bristol String Quartet, and Jo is the orchestral manager for Wedmore Opera.
