Overview

We are delighted to be collaborating again with London Sinfonietta, showing students four different approaches to composing a piece through their Composition Challenges.

Join us on Monday 13 March at Islington Assembly Halls for your class to premiere their piece in front of other Islington schools and have the chance to hear it interpreted by London Sinfonietta musicians!

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Each sitting has capacity for 5 classes of 30 with accompanying adults.

  • Session 1: 9.00-9.45
  • Session 2: 10.15-11.00
  • Session 3: 11.30-12.15

Please fill in this form and we will be in touch to confirm your class’ place. Deadline to sign up and send your class’ composition is 27 February 2023.

If Create and Play isn’t enough for your school, London Sinfonietta’s annual concert for schools, ‘Sound Out’, takes place on Thursday 9March at the Royal Festival Hall. Read more on their website.
