Event information

A showcase of new music by students from Guildhall School of Music & Drama, featuring newly written works for flute, viola and harp inspired by paintings in The Courtauld’s permanent collection, with a particular focus on the Impressionist Room. Come and listen to new music written in response to artworks across The Courtauld’s collections.

This project is part of a long-standing collaboration between The Courtauld and Guildhall School of Music & Drama, which sees students from the School writing original pieces inspired by the collection.

The project is directed by Barbara De Biasi, Lead professor of Film Music in the Electronic & Produced Music department at Guildhall School and Dr Charlotte de Mille, Associate Lecturer at The Courtauld.
