We're delighted to welcome distinguished trombonist Helen Vollam to work with Guildhall brass players in this free, open masterclass.  

Helen Vollam is an acclaimed trombonist and Principal Trombone of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, where she has led the section since 2004. A trailblazer as the first woman to hold a principal trombone position in a London orchestra, she maintains a dynamic career performing with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the award-winning quartet Bones Apart. Widely respected as a performer, teacher and arranger, she appears internationally as a soloist and chamber musician and is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of brass players through her extensive educational and artistic work.

The session will last for 3 hours, but audience members are welcome to drop in at any time and they will be admitted at an appropriate moment.
