Congratulations to the alumni and honorary fellows named among the 100 most influential people in theatre

Now in its 23rd year, The Stage 100 lists the most influential figures working in the UK theatre and performing arts industry, selected by leading industry figures and senior editors at The Stage.

A number of Guildhall alumni feature in this year’s list: Emma Rice (Acting 1988) is at 31 for her work in 2018 with new company Wise Children; Daniel Evans (Acting 1994) is at 68 with Rachel Tackley, for their work at Chichester Festival Theatre; Natasha Gordon (Acting 1999) comes in at 74 following the success of her debut play Nine Night, which has transferred to Trafalgar Studio from the National Theatre.

Honorary Fellows Darren Henley OBE and Sir Antonio Pappano also feature in the list; Pappano, Music Director of The Royal Opera, features at 18 with Royal Opera House, and Henley, Chief Executive of Arts Council England, at 41 with Sir Nicholas Sarota.

David Mumeni, founder of Open Door, is in the list at 98. Guildhall works closely with David as part of our partnership with Open Door, offering young people from low-income households free auditions and workshops, in both acting and production arts.
