Guildhall Alumni Mentoring
Do you have an idea for a new creative project or business? This programme from Guildhall is designed to support you as you take the first steps in developing your ideas, as you join a group of like-minded alumni looking to make an impact in the world and turn your ideas into successful initiatives.

About the programme
Over four months, you will be supported to gain the necessary skills and tools to grow your ideas, expand your professional network, and create a ‘road map’ for your next steps.
A key aspect of the programme is creating space for creative thinking to help you make sense of your career journey so far and reflect on how to succeed in the future. With your mentors you will reflect on your skills, values, and ambitions, explore your strengths as a person, and identify anything that may be restricting your route to success.
Key dates include:

26th April, 10am - 12pm - Initial group session and mentor matching process (in person at Guildhall School of Music & Drama)

1st May - 18th July - Mentoring sessions

19th July, 10am - 12pm - Final group session (in person at Guildhall School of Music & Drama)
To apply, submit a completed application form, equality monitoring form and CV to alumni.mentoring@gsmd.ac.uk.

FAQs
The scheme is open to all Guildhall alumni who have completed a higher education programme of at least a 1 year’s duration (or part time equivalent) and are passionate about developing their entrepreneurial skills and abilities. We encourage applications from all sections of our community, and particularly welcome graduates from underrepresented groups in the industry. You must have completed your course and be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply.
Applicants should apply with ambition to develop ideas around a specific creative project or business. 1-1s with a trained mentor and access to an external expert in your field.

Time with a leading innovator and CEO in your field to learn from their professional experience and insights.

Access to individual and group sessions on a range of entrepreneurial topics (e.g., preparing a pitch, developing contacts, etc.).
Complete and submit the following to alumni.mentoring@gsmd.ac.uk:
