Biography & Pure profile
What's been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?
I have thoroughly enjoyed working across different venues on a mixture of shows. One highlight in particular was having the role of Production Sound Engineer on the Reps. The skills I learnt were invaluable for my future career.
What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?
I enjoyed working on a project in construction. From a design concept to the build stage. I learnt lots of new transferable skills such as CAD drawing, carpentry, and welding.
What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?
During my time at Guildhall, I have utilised the facilities to improve not only my hard skills but also my soft skills. This was made possible while pushing my comfort zones and interacting with my peers and professionals.
Additionally, one quality I will take from working at Guildhall is to treat others how you would like to be treated. I aspire to creating a safe environment by making sure no member of my team is hesitant to ask questions where confusion occurs. No one knows everything, and we each have our individual skills. So therefore, there are no such thing as a silly question.
What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?
After I graduate, I am interested in working in theatrical sound, but I realise that there are opportunities beyond this to explore.
