Event information

Join us for an evocative evening performance in two parts, showcasing the work of Guildhall School's Production Arts department.

Whole New World is an aerial theatre performance by Edd Fletcher and Sophie Page Hall, exploring contemporary human experience from the setting of their shared London living room.

This piece dives into the paradox of our hyperconnected world, where the illusion of constant contact leaves us more isolated than ever. What does it mean to live in a time when information is constantly at our fingertips? Can we transcend the confines of mind and body to reach a deeper understanding of life?

The second part features two Expanded Cinema films by Didier Brown, Finn Karat, Kamila Przybylski, Kennedy Stephens, Sid Worth, Walter Nash. Students on the BA(Hons) Digital Design and Production Course.

Titled Sync, Float and Drift, the segment showcases innovative uses of animation, film and the dynamic automation system of the Milton Court Theatre stage. Mobile surfaces and intricate projection techniques bring these audio visual pieces to life in a unique visual experience.

The show is brought to life with the support of Guildhall's Production Arts students, who contribute their expertise in Stage Management, Production Management, Technical Management, Automation, Sound, Video, Lighting, and Costume.

Free, no tickets required
