Charge returns to The Old Church in Stoke Newington for a night of live electronics and sound art showcasing new experimental music from Guildhall School's Electronic & Produced Music department.
Please note doors open 7pm, live music from 7.30pm.
Performers
Rebecca's Jewellery - 'SHAKING THE BRANCHES' is the new set of audio collages and texts by Rebecca's Jewellery aiming to find honesty amongst the abstract. Performing with voice and sampler instruments built from field recordings; constructing a narrative through familiar yet imaginary soundscapes.
Genia Isachenko is a sound artist, vocalist, and researcher working across experimental music and performance. Their work is informed by an interest in alternative electronic music performance through using obsolete/unwanted technology.
They will perform a set of music with a surround system which consists of small speakers, amps, and radios.
Ikologies is an experimental electronic musician and DJ born and raised in London. Ambient melodies and washed-out modular synths weave together introspective depth and subtle intensity. Her sound moves between ethereal and industrial sonic landscapes, inspired by nature.
