We're delighted to welcome internationally acclaimed pianist Jonathan Biss to work with Guildhall keyboard players in this free, open masterclass.
Internationally recognised as one of the leading pianists of his generation, Jonathan Biss is renowned for the intelligence, intensity and honesty of his musicianship. He performs regularly with the world’s major orchestras and conductors, and is especially admired for his interpretations of the core classical and romantic repertoire, as well as his deep engagement with contemporary music. In addition to his performing career, he is a respected teacher and musical thinker, widely valued for his ability to articulate the challenges and rewards of musical interpretation with clarity and insight.
The session will last for 3 hours, but audience members are welcome to drop in at any time and they will be admitted at an appropriate moment.
