We are delighted to welcome Dorothee Oberlinger to work with Guildhall musicians in this recorder masterclass.

Dorothee Oberlinger is celebrated world-wide as an expressive virtuoso on the recorder. The recipient of numerous awards, she is a regular guest with leading international Baroque ensembles as well as modern symphony orchestras. She directs her own "Ensemble 1700", which has realised a wide variety of projects relating to the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In 2004 Dorothee Oberlinger was appointed professor at the renowned Mozarteum academy in Salzburg.

Venue information

Silk Street Theatre, Music Hall and Lecture Recital Room are located in the main Guildhall School building on Silk Street and for Barbican produced events the venue can also be accessed from the Barbican if you exit via the doors next to Barbican Kitchen on Level G.
