Event information

Despite the relative youth of Art-Song in North America compared to the Western European tradition, there is over two centuries’ worth of Art-Song repertoire to explore, as well as the traditional songs that pre-date the arrival of the British Colonies.

This project, directed by Guildhall alumna Harriet Burns, celebrates all time periods of the Northern American Art-Song genre, celebrating lesser-known composers, and composers who were influenced by their time in the US.

Free, no tickets required
