Youth & Adult Learning
Guildhall School offers a host of opportunities for people of all ages to explore Music, Drama and Production Arts, whether taking their very first steps or putting building blocks in place for a professional career.
We offer a wide range of short courses and summer schools across Music, Drama, Production Arts and other art forms in person and online. Led by Guildhall School teachers and industry-leading guest tutors, our courses offer an insight into Guildhall’s world-class learning environment in a fun and supportive setting. Designed for a range of ages and abilities and varying in length, from a few days to two weeks, they take place throughout the year, with Easter holiday courses, Summer Schools, and evening courses in term time.
Guildhall Creative Entrepreneurs, our business incubator, helps people in the performing arts to launch their own enterprises.
Our specialist Saturday school Junior Guildhall and the Centre for Young Musicians provide high quality music training for young people, while our Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning programme supports people of all ages and backgrounds to discover their creative voice and access world-class arts for free.
An exciting new venture has been the creation of Music Education Islington in partnership with the London Borough of Islington. This music hub will ensure that all children and young people in the borough receive a fair share of high quality music education and progression opportunities, regardless of their background.
