Witness a very special piano masterclass, delivered at the same time in both the UK and Japan using state-of-the-art technology.
Two Yamaha Disklavier pianos will be connected over the internet between London and Hamamatsu, allowing the pianists in each City to perform on each other's piano, with footage of the performances displayed to audiences in both locations via a live-streamed video link.
Venue information
Silk Street Theatre, Music Hall and Lecture Recital Room are located in the main Guildhall School building on Silk Street and for Barbican produced events the venue can also be accessed from the Barbican if you exit via the doors next to Barbican Kitchen on Level G.
