Orchestral Artistry is an exciting professional specialism for advanced Bowed Strings, Wind, Brass or Percussion instrumentalists seeking a career in orchestral playing, delivered in association with one of the world’s leading orchestras, the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO).

The Post-Graduate Certificate (PGCert) in Performance Teaching is a Masters-level course designed to support professional musicians, actors, production artists and dancers who teach as part of their practice, either as their main employment or as part of a portfolio career

The emphasis of this programme is on your individual growth as a practical musicians and artist, through the principal study module. It is open to students interested in Principal Study in Strings, Wind, Brass, Percussion, Keyboar, Vocal Studies, Opera Studies (including Repetiteurs), Historical Performance and Jazz.

This programme delivered at RQF Level 8 from September 2026.

It is for advanced students with exceptional aptitude in their specialism, and strong professional and artistic ambitions, providing specialist, professional training for those embarking on a national and international career. This Masters programme allows composers and writers to focus on how new opera is created, developed and performed, and is delivered in association with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
