Guildhall School’s 2025 Harp Festival offers two days of dazzling artistry, international talent and fresh perspectives on one of music’s most evocative instruments.
On Monday 30 June, acclaimed Austrian soloist Elisabeth Plank opens the festival with an intensive masterclass, followed by a recital by Teodora Cotuna, the rising Spanish star and winner of the 2025 Istanbul International Harp Competition.
On Tuesday 1 July, experience the harp in fascinating contexts: from a Jane Austen-inspired lecture-recital, to jazz performances by Hugh Webb, a contemporary music showcase including a world premiere by Robin Holloway, and a captivating closing performance on historical harps.
