Biography

Stuart trained at Guildhall School of Music & Drama. He has produced productions in London, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Budapest, Dublin, Cape Town and numerous productions at Edinburgh Festival. Stuart is a Fellow of the Guildhall School the Higher Education Academy and an Associate of The Royal Irish Academy of Music.

His theatre work includes

Productions at Soho Theatre, the Lyric Hammersmith, Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Court, Crucible Sheffield, Everyman Liverpool, The Stephen Joseph Theatre Scarborough, The Národní Divadlo Prague, Studio 54, Brooklyn Academy of Music, BB King Theatre, Mabou Mines and 59E59 Street New York.

West End

The Rose Tattoo, Skylight, Singing in the Rain, Return to the Forbidden Planet, Mother Clap's Molly House.

National Theatre

Opening productions in London, New York, Lisbon, Athens, Jerusalem and touring internationally. Productions include: The Madness of George III, Carousel, Oklahoma, Angels in America, Peter Brook’s The Man Who and Harold Pinter’s Remembrance of Things Past and Landscape.

He was Head of Production for the National Theatre’s Art of Regeneration Project. 

Music

Stuart has worked extensively in popular music working with Pet Shop Boys, Cream, Squeeze, Jools Holland, Bruce Springsteen, The Corrs, Suede, The Strypes, Coldcut, Right Said Fred, and Elton John. He was Chris Difford’s Tour Manager touring the US extensively supporting Paul Weller, Roger Waters, Richey Havens and The Who.
