Course Information

Want to try out conservatoire training without the commitment of a full degree programme? Looking for a gap year music programme, or a chance to come to the UK to study your instrument in London with internationally-renowned teachers?

If so, our Short Term Music Programme may be the course for you. Delivered at two levels – Level 4 Undergraduate studies for those on a gap year or looking for study abroad, and Postgraduate Level 7, for those who have a four-year degree and may be considering postgraduate study - the course is focused on Principal Study tuition and musicianship skills.

Running from September to February each year, the programme provides six months of intensive music tuition as a Guildhall School student, and is open to students from across the world with online recorded auditions and no requirement for a Student visa (other visa requirements may apply).* Applicants should be of a high standard of musicianship suitable for study at music conservatoire level.

The Short Term Music Programme runs from September and opens for applications in January. For any enquiries, please email the Short Term Music team.
