Conor Neaves

Conor is a working-class Actor, Motion Capture Artist and Multi-Disciplinary Practitioner. Originally from Cumbria, he has worked both regionally and internationally travelling as far as Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Conor trained with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts with a BA (Hons) in Performance.

As an Actor he has worked with directors including Danny Boyle, Lyndsey Turner, Rufus Norris, Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin. His work spans acclaimed companies including The National Theatre, BBC, HBO, Working Title, Amazon Studios, and Imaginarium Studios.

As a Director he has been shortlisted for both the JMK Victoria Wood and Bryan Forbes bursaries after representing Theatre by the Lake on RTYDS’ new initiative New Directions North.

Priding himself on versatility, and with a keen interest in movement, his work in Motion and Performance Capture has taken him into the realms of computer games and VFX. In his role of Performance Director, he worked on Larian Studios' award-winning Baldur's Gate 3 (Winner of Game of the Year 2023).

Conor is an Associate Artist of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and regularly facilitates for The Old Vic on their Schools’ Club programme, delivering bespoke workshops to schools from areas with poor arts provisions.

Conor gained his PG Cert (HE) in Performance Teaching at Guildhall School of Music & Drama and holds Fellowship (FHEA) from Advance HE. He is at the forefront of Actor Training within Digital Technologies. Specialising in Virtual Environments he prepares students for work in Motion and Performance Capture at several of the UK's leading Drama Schools.
