Adrian Gerolemou

Adrian joined the team at GYA Taunton at the start of the year and is a Music Production specialist.

 

Adrian moved to the South West in 2021, following 15 years of teaching at Harrow School. Prior to this, he spent over two decades living and working in London as a professional musician and educator, teaching across a range of schools and colleges. His career has also taken him overseas, including a period at the International School of Music in Cuba. 
 

He holds an MA in Record Production (with Distinction) from the University of West London and a BMus in Popular Music Performance from the London College of Music. During his studies, Adrian trained under acclaimed producers Mike Howlett and Pip Williams, as well as renowned session guitarist Dave Kilminster.

 

A versatile musician and dedicated teacher, Adrian brings extensive experience in performance and education across a wide variety of musical styles. Specialising in Music Technology and Guitar, he combines technical expertise with creative passion, encouraging students to develop both skill and confidence.

 

Alongside his work with GYA Taunton, he leads the A Level Music Technology course at Wellington School, where he teaches electric and acoustic guitar and coaches the school’s rock bands.

 

As a performer and bandleader, Adrian has appeared at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, including Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, Houses of Parliament, 100 Club, Lord’s Cricket Ground, The Rock Garden, and Wentworth Golf Club, as well as performing for the McLaren F1 racing team. He continues to perform regularly across the UK at corporate events and weddings, enriching his teaching with real-world musical experience and inspiring his students to become confident, creative musicians.
